Government of PakistanSending billions to India tantamount to treason: Talal Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry has said that sending billions of rupees to India is an allegation of treason; therefore, the issue is not about Nawaz Sharif but Pakistan.

Talking to media persons in Islamabad, Talal Chaudhry said that the Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal didn’t only make a mistake but he did a blunder.

If it was a mistake, an apology should have been sought,” the state minister said.

Talal Chaudhry said that in Pakistan corruption is always done in the name of accountability. He said that earlier Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) was formed in the name of accountability and now Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is being made in the same way.

The state minster said that in the name of accountability, democracy lovers were always targeted in the Country and the leaders as per their aspirations were brought in.

In reply to a question, he said that i hope that doctors at Services Hospital Lahore will discharge the Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal by this weekend.
