ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has said that Saudi Arabia will invest in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and will be the third big investor in the multi-billion dollar project.

In a Press Conference in Islamabad on Thursday, Fawad Chaudhry said that Saudi Arabia has assured that it will stand with Pakistan.

The minister said that a Saudi delegating consisting of Minister for Power and other dignitaries will arrive in Pakistan in first week of October.

Fawad Chaudhry said that during his visit to Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Imran Khan was given a historical welcome. He said that the prime minister assured the Saudi authorities that Pakistan will help them in security matters.

The information minister said that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government will help Pakistan in water supply projects in Karachi.

Talking about the release of Sharif family members from Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, Fawad Chaudhry said that we will not let Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz to go abroad.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the prime minister doesn’t believe in any deal, and no concession will be given to Nawaz Sharif at any cost. He said that three absconders including Ishaq Dar, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz will also be brought back in Pakistan. He assured that looted money of Pakistan’s public will be retrieved back.

In reply to a question, the minister said that no foreign Country demanded for the release of Nawaz Sharif.
