Government of PakistanReady to talk with anyone for peace expect plunderers: PM Imran Khan

MIANWALI, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that we are ready for dialogue with everybody for peace including those in Balochistan and Tribal districts but there will be no reconciliation with those who plundered the national exchequer and laundered the money abroad.

“Nations, which strike a deal with plunderers, eventually get destroyed,” the prime minister said while addressing a big public gathering after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of several development projects in Mianwali on Saturday.

Ruling out talks with plunderers and looters, the prime minister reiterated that neither they will get an NRO nor they will be talked with.

Imran Khan also emphatically said that the present government will only take those decisions which are in the interest and welfare of the public. He said that he will not disappoint the masses and this Country will be transformed into a great nation for which it was created.

The prime minister announced that the Federal, Punjab, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments will award scholarships amounting Rs 47 billion to 6.2 million youth to pursue higher education.

The prime minister said that the entire population of Punjab will be provided with Health Cards by March next year under which each household will be eligible to get medical treatment worth Rs 1 million annually.

In addition, he pointed out that inflation is an international phenomenon caused by COVID-19 related lockdowns. He however said the prices in Pakistan are still lower when compared with other Countries.

Imran Khan said that the Ehsaas Rashan Program has also been launched to provide wheat flour, ghee, and pulses to the underprivileged lot on 30 percent subsidized rates. He said that the Kamyab Pakistan program envisaging interest-free loans of up to Rs 500,000 is also aimed at uplifting the weak segments of the society.

The main road will be widened upto 7.3 meters and 2.5-wide shoulders will be constructed on both sides.
