SHEIKHUPURA, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Industries and Production and National Food Security Rana Tanveer Hussain on Monday inaugurated the Rachna Industrial Park in Sheikhupura.

Addressing the ceremony on the occasion, the federal minister said that Industrial Parks and Special Economic Zones (SEZs) are crucial for economic development of Pakistan.

The minister highlighted the importance of economic zones in transforming economies around the world and leading nations towards prosperity.

Rana Tanveer emphasized that industrial development plays a significant role in shaping the economic landscape of the Country.

“The true measure of our success lies in sustainable development, which has positive effects on our economy and society,” he said.

The federal minister also stressed on the interdependence of industrial and national development, stating that a thriving industry leads to a stable economy.

The completion of Rachna Industrial Park serves as a testament to the unwavering commitment of our government, according to Federal Minister Rana Tanveer.

The park holds strategic importance in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as it is located near the M2 and M5 motorways, serving as a gateway to enhance trade and cooperation between the two Countries.

Rana Tanveer highlighted the role of the private sector in driving economic growth, stating that close collaboration between government and private industries is essential for sustainable development. He also mentioned that industrial development boosts foreign investment and enhances the country’s export capacity.

The federal minister underscored the government’s focus on agriculture and industry to boost exports and strengthen the economy. He stated that the government has taken concrete steps to improve agricultural productivity and provide quality seeds and fertilizers to farmers.

“Our government does not believe in spreading negativity and hatred, but in taking practical steps towards economic prosperity,” he said.

The minister emphasized that sustainable development is the top priority of the Muslim League-Nawaz government, and the country is on the path to economic progress through sound economic policies.

Rana Tanveer reiterated the government’s commitment to the CPEC, stating that it will be a game-changer in strengthening the Country’s economy. He emphasized that CPEC will play a vital role in making Pakistan economically resilient and prosperous.

The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
