Government of PakistanPTI unable to present evidence before SC on Panama Papers: Tariq

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had not presented any evidence before the Supreme Court (SC) regarding Panama Papers case.

Talking to a private TV channel, he said PTI had no evidence against the Prime Minister regarding Panama Papers issue.

PTI was trying to remain active in politics through protest demonstrations and levelling baseless allegations on others, he added.

He said Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif would be vindicated from the court regarding Panama Papers.

Dr Tariq said PTI lawyers should present evidence regarding the issue before the court.

He said PTI chief Imran Khan had stated that the main aim of making offshore company was to save tax but he also owned offshore company.
