MANDI BAHAUDDIN, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan has been put on right course with record exports, tax collection and remittances by the expatriates.

While addressing a public gathering in Mandi Bahauddin on Friday, he said that the inflation impacting the common man and the government is trying to ebb away its pressure by reducing taxes and duties on petrol import.

Imran Khan said that for the first time, the government also granted Overseas Pakistanis voting right, enhanced farmers’ income, ensured the timely payments to sugarcane farmers.

The prime minister said that the government is bringing about an IT revolution in the Country as 70% rise in IT exports has been recorded. He also said that the government is providing interest free loans to the youth and Rs 1 million health insurance to every family in Punjab.

“This is just the beginning and we have to make Pakistan a welfare state with Sehat Card being the biggest step towards it,” he said.

Imran Khan said that by March 2022, Sehat Card will be available across Punjab for which the provincial government has allocated Rs 400 billion.

In Mandi Bahauddin, Prime Minister Imran Khan will also hold meetings with elected representatives in the Parliament from the area.

Earlier prior to the prime minister’s address to the public gathering in Mandi Bahauddin, the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said that it would be a historic public gathering for which all arrangements had been finalized and people of the area were looking forward to give a warm welcome to their beloved leader Imran Khan.

Farrukh Habib said that a mass-mobilizing vibe would trigger from Mandi Bahauddin as was seen during the political struggle of Prime Minister Imran Khan in which he held mammoth and crowd-pulling gatherings.
