MURREE, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday launched various development projects in Murree including the establishment of Kohsar University and the up-gradation of TB Sanatorium Hospital.
While addressing the launching ceremony, the prime minister said that the incumbent government is focusing on developing new tourist destinations to promote tourism and to provide jobs to local people.
The prime minister said that tourism is the future of Pakistan and Kohsar University will contribute a lot in this regard. He said that we can retire our debt by promoting the tourism sector in all parts of the Country.
Imran Khan said that Switzerland earns around US$ 80 billion every year through tourism. He said that Switzerland has developed tourism as science and launched courses in hospitality management and we can also earn more by developing our northern areas and other tourist spot across Pakistan.
The prime minister said that the tourism sector has been flourishing in Pakistan at double pace every year.

Meanwhile, the prime minister planted a sapling under the Clean and Green Campaign, and also distributed cheques among the deserving people under the Ehsas Program as well as loans under the Kamyab Jawan Program.
It may be added that the establishment of Kohsar University is an important step forward to promote the tourism sector in the Country. It will be affiliated with a leading international university to make it world-class seat of learning for tourism studies.
