ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain Friday said that bilateral exchange of delegations in different fields would open up new avenues of cooperation between Pakistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The President was talking to Pakistan’s ambassador-designate to Bosnia and Herzegovina Lt General (retd) Salim Nawaz who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.

The President congratulated Lt General (retd) Salim Nawaz on his appointment and underscored the need for hard work and cooperation to bring the two countries further closer.

He called for exploring new avenues of bilateral collaboration. The President called for regular exchange between the two countries in fields of education, culture and other sectors. The President said Pakistan can also offer educational scholarships to Bosnian students.

President Mamnoon Hussain expressed best wishes to the ambassador-designate in discharge of his new responsibilities.

The ambassador-designate thanked the President for guidance.
