ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan award on the Minister for Defence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.
The award was given in recognition of his meritorious services for promotion of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia especially in the sphere of defence.
The Investiture Ceremony held at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad was attended amongst others by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and the Services Chiefs.

The Ceremony took place in connection with the Pakistan Day being celebrated with a renewed pledge to work hard for the progress and stability of Country.
Separately, President Asif Ali Zardari also confer awards and medals to personalities for their outstanding contribution in different fields.
