ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Markazi Asna Ashri Imam Bargah in G-6, Islamabad last night and reviewed the security arrangements for the upcoming Muharram processions.
The interior minister zet with participants and inquired about the arrangements.
The participants expressed satisfaction over the security measures and arrangements.

The Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the police and administration are on high alert to ensure peace and security during Muharram.
Mohsin Naqvi directed the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad Muhammad Ali Rindhawa and IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi to take necessary steps to ensure the security of the processions.
The minister said that a control room has been set up and CCTV cameras are being used to monitor the situation.
The interior minister was accompanied by the Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa, IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Ali Raza, and other relevant officials.
