Government of PakistanPML-N to bring FATA people into national mainstream: Muqam

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Advisor to the Prime Minister Engineer Ameer Muqam Monday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government had prepared FATA reforms after hectic efforts of two years as Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was keen to bring tribal areas into national mainstream.

The black law of Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR), he said would be demolished and according to the aspirations of majority of people of area and Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) would be made part of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Talking to MNAs from FATA including Shahabuddin Khan, Sajid Toori, Senator Sajjad Hussain Toori and Senator Najmul Hassan here at his residence, he said Maulana Fazlur Rehman was a much respectable and reputable personality for us and his suggestions would be given prime importance in FATA reforms procedure.

He said Maulana Sahib was our ally and would remain so in future.

Muqam said “I hope it would also be the opinion of Maulana Fazlur Rehman to let avail the FATA people a golden chance of changing their destiny for the first time after inception of the motherland”.

Engineer Muqam further said that performance of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan was above all of his former counterparts in the country and his efforts and steps against terrorism and militancy were acknowledged within the country and abroad.

Besides doing his duty on internal fronts, Muqam said Chaudhry Nisar also presented the stance of Pakistan against terrorism abroad in a very effective manner.

Chaudhry Nisar, he said always performed professionally.

He said those demanding resignation from Chaudhry Nisar had totally failed in bringing peace to Sindh adding people talking against the Interior Minister should instead be thankful to him.
