Government of PakistanPML-N never avoids accountability: Khawaja Asif

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Federal Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif Thursday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was ready to face all the allegations against it at all forums as it never avoided the accountability process.

Talking to media outside the premises of Supreme Court after hearing of Panama case, PML-N leader Khawaja Asif said that Nawaz Sharif had already presented himself for accountability.

He asked Imran Khan why he invested charity funds of the Shaukat Khanum Hospital in his friend’s company.

“Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is ready to answer each and every question. We will not resist accountability process on any judicial or public forum,” he added.

But the question is, who will hold Imran Khan responsible for his misdeeds, he said.

Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that accountability was the pillar of PML-N but accountability was the process and responsibility of state institutions but Imran Khan wanted to decide it on streets and roads.

He alleged that PTI and some other opposition parties did not want to resolve the Panama issue.
