ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said Panama Papers had never been and would never be any threat to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government.

Earlier on Friday, the Supreme Court announced that since Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali was about to retire this month; therefore, the Apex Court would constitute a new bench to hear Panama Case from beginning next month.

Talking to the media representatives in Islamabad on Saturday, Marriyum Aurangzeb said the stance of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan kept changing every passing hour as it was totally based on falsehood, allegations and anarchy.

The minister said the politics of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif revolved around serving the masses with dedication and honesty. She said it was the vision of the prime minister that terror acts had significantly been reduced and power outages curtailed to two to three hours.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said credit also went to the prime minister for connecting the provinces and cities through road infrastructure and public transport projects.

Meanwhile while addressing the International Mountain Film Festival in Islamabad, Marriyum Aurangzeb says the prime minister was himself concentrating on the revival of film industry in Pakistan.

Marriyum said the federal government was making all out efforts for the betterment of industry and the artists. She said establishment of funds for film industry would be announced soon.

The state minister said with our vast array of cultural and civilizational asset, we could vivify the positive and real image of our country internationally. She said the youth needed to be engaged in all endeavors aimed at promotion and enrichment of our culture and civilization.

Marriyum Aurangzeb underscored the need for bringing the film industry in line with the international standards.
