ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has wished Eid Mubarak to Muslims across the World.

“As the holy month of Ramazan draws to a close, I want to wish a happy & blessed Eid Mubarak to Muslims & overseas Pakistanis across the world,” Shahbaz Sharif wrote in a Twitter message on Monday.

The prime minister also extended warm Eid greetings to his fellow Muslim leaders and reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to further strengthen ties with them.

Muslims in the Arab Countries including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Yemen as well as Muslims in Europe, America and East Asia are celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today.

In Pakistan, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Tuesday after the moon of Shawwal was not sighted on Sunday night.

In a Press Conference, the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khair Azad said that any evidence of moon sighting hadn’t been received from any part of the Country.
