ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif would be paying an official visit to Riyadh on October 24, 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday.

His visit is being undertaken on the invitation of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

During his stay in Riyadh, the prime minister would hold consultations with the Saudi Crown Prince to review the longstanding fraternal relations, with a view to further strengthening the multifaceted cooperation, especially in the economic field.

The prime minister will also attend the Saudi Future Investment Initiative Summit.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has felicitated the Hindu community in the Country on their festive occasion of Diwali.

“Wishing the Hindu community in Pakistan and around the world on Diwali, the festival of lights,” the prime minister said in a tweet.

The prime minister wished for Diwali to become a source of peace and happiness for all.

“May the day bring peace, joy and harmony to our world,” he said.
