RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Special Meeting in Riyadh.

The two leaders expressed satisfaction over the progress made on the decisions taken in their meeting in Makkah earlier this month.

Areas of mutual interest were discussed and both leaders agreed to further promote cooperation in different sectors.

The prime minister thanked His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for sending a high-level delegation to Pakistan under the leadership of the Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud and for issuing directions for more delegations to visit Pakistan to promote investment.

The prime minister expressed gratitude to the Saudi Crown Prince for the hospitality during his visit to Saudi Arabia and for a comprehensive program presented by Saudi ministers regarding investment in Pakistan.

The situation in Gaza was also discussed in the meeting.

Shahbaz Sharif reiterated the invitation to the Saudi Crown Prince to visit Pakistan.
