ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (retd) Nasir-ul-Mulk has announced to observe a national mourning day on Sunday in solidarity with the victims of Mustang and Bannu blasts.
In this regard, the PM Office has directed the Interior Ministry to issue a notification.

On Friday, two separate blasts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu and Balochistan’s Mastung districts martyred around 132 people and 180 further injured.
The first terror-related incident took place in Hawid area of Bannu in which five people were martyred and 33 injured. The remote control bomb targeted the convoy of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Candidate for National Assembly Seat NA-35 Bannu Akram Khan Durrani.
In the second blast which struck a corner meeting of Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) in Darin Garh area of Mastung district, 128 people including BAP’s Candidate Nawabzada Mir Siraj Raisani Candidate from PB-35 Mastung were martyred and around 200 sustained injuries.
Following the blast, the Balochistan government announced two-day mourning in the province over the tragic suicide bomb blast in Mastung while Balochistan Awami Party also announced three-day mourning.
