ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar Ul Haq Kakar will visit China to participate in the ‘Third Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation’ being held in Beijing from October 17-18, 2023.
His visit will be undertaken at the invitation of President of China Xi Jinping,
In China, the prime minister will attend the Opening Ceremony of the BRF and address the High-Level Forum entitled ‘Connectivity in an Open Global Economy.’
Anwaar Ul Haq Kakar will hold bilateral meetings with President Xi Jinping, senior Chinese officials, business leaders & investors as well as a number of leaders attending the forum.

The Third Belt and Road Forum (BRF) for International Cooperation is being held under the theme “High-quality Belt and Road Cooperation: Together for Common Development and Prosperity.”
Representatives from 130 nations and 30 international organizations are expected to attend the forum which will include three high-level forums on connectivity, green development, and digital economy, as well as six seminars.
China launched the multi-trillion-dollar BRI, and according to the Spokeswoman for China’s Foreign Ministry Hua Chunying, it will become “more open” as it marks 10 years since its launch in 2013.
