ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the Air Headquarters in Islamabad on Monday, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.
Upon his arrival, the Chief of Air Staff (CAF) Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan welcomed the prime minister.
The prime minister was presented guard of honour who laid floral wreath at Martyrs Monument.
Imran Khan lauded Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) role in ensuring aerial defence of the Country especially the one displayed during February 2019. He also appreciated PAF’s contribution in war against terrorism, various Nation Building activities and positive image projection of Pakistan.
The Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Finance and Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, the Minister for Defence Production Ms Zubaida Jalal Khan and the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting accompanied the prime minister.
