NOWSHERA: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday visited Nowshera wherein he inaugurated the newly constructed Dry Port in Azakhel area.
The official sources said that the Dry Port that has been completed at a cost of Rs 510 million, and it will boost trade and economic activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the entire region.
While addressing the inauguration ceremony of Azakhel Dry Port, the prime minister said that it will help increase trade that would lead to job creation and benefit the local populace.

Earlier, the Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said while addressing a News Conference in Peshawar that the Azakhel Dry Port Project in Nowshera would help promote business and trade activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The railways minister said that it was a longstanding demand of the business community of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa that has been fulfilled by the present elected government in line of their aspirations.
Sheikh Rasheed said that the government has also decided to open Nowshera-Dargai Railways Section that would help promote tourism in Malakand Division.
