ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has felicitated China on its 70th National Day, the Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency reported.
“Today on the 70th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China I want to extend our nation’s greetings to our true & steadfast friend China,” Imran Khan said on his twitter message on Tuesday.
Imran Khan said that he has always admired China’s development and its fight against corruption.
The prime minister said that Pakistan-China relations have gone from strength to strength and China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a reflection of our mutual commitment to this enduring relationship.

Earlier in the day, with a huge military parade was held in Beijing to mark the 70th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China celebrated annually on October 1.
The Chinese President Xi Jinping presided over the parade designed to show off the nation’s military strength and its rapid rise over the past seven decades to a global power.
Imran Khan to visit China next week
Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit China next week to attend the China Pakistan Business Forum to be held in Beijing on October 8.
It will be his third visit to China within a year.
During his visit, Imran Khan will also meet the Chinese President XI Jinping and other high-level authorities.
