ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan has accorded an approval to the establishment of the ‘National Jobs Portal’ to generate job opportunities for the youth.

In a meeting held in Islamabad on Monday, the Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar briefed the prime minister about the Kamyab Jawan Programme.

During the meeting, they also discussed in detail the Corona Relief Tigers Force and the establishment of the National Jobs Portal.

The prime minister approved the setting up of the National Jobs Portal to ensure the provision of employment to the youth, and also decided to reassign the Tigers Force to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic in the wake of the resurgence of the virus.

Usman Dar also apprised the prime minister of the progress made in providing loans under the Kamyab Jawan Programme.

In his remarks in the meeting, the prime minister said that youth is a valuable asset to the Country, and empowering them is among Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) top priorities.

Usman Dar said that as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, they are striving hard to provide respectable jobs to the youth.
