ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday, and deliberated upon issued related to national security.
The two leaders also discussed the situation in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

It was the first meeting between them after the prime minister approved a three-year extension to the Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa till November 2022 in view of the ‘regional security environment’.
Earlier in the day in a tweet on the occasion of 1st International Day for Victims of Violence based on Religion or Belief, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the world must move to prevent an impending genocide of Kashmiris in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.
The prime minister said that we call attention to the plight of millions of Kashmiris living under brutal Indian Occupation, abuse and violence, deprived of all fundamental rights and freedoms.
