Government of PakistanPanama Case: Marriyum lashes out at opposition over objections on JIT

RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would give answer before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) in Panamagate Case but why Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and other opposition parties were crying.

Talking to media in Rawalpindi, the minister said that it was Imran Khan’s thought that the prime minister would not give answer of his three generations. She said that now same Commission was going to be formed which had previously been announced by the prime minister

Marriyum said that the Supreme Court had rejected all three petitions filled in Panama Papers Case, adding that the prime minister and his family succeeded in the Court.

The state minister said that Imran Khan levelled baseless allegations against every institution and national figure of the Country. She said that the politics of defaming institutions and trying to bring them under pressure must be abandoned.

Marriyum Aurangzeb was of the view that PTI did nothing except protest since 2013, and people would hold accountable all the political parties in 2018 keeping in view their performance.

Earlier addressing a ceremony at a local school in Rawalpindi, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that under the Prime Minister’s Education Reform Policy curriculum was being revised to cater the changing tones of time in line with our national values and ideology.

The minister said that inculcating our young generation with pride in our history, values, language and culture was the need of the hour.

Moscow says it won’t allow US to silence UNSC on Israeli violence against Palestinians Monitoring Desk: Russian envoy in United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said that the UN Security Council should bring peace, stability and prosperity to the Middle East and Russia would not allow United States to silence UNSC over the issue of Gaza crisis. According to TASS news Agency, Nebenzya said that Moscow will continue to call for an end to violence against Palestinians and will not allow the US to muzzle the UN Security Council as Washington seeks to support Israel's operation in Gaza. "We will continue to stand firmly for ending violence against the Palestinians. Without a shadow of a doubt, we will continue to expose the abuses and sanctimony with which the US is handling the situation.
