After Sindh, KPK also shuts all educational institutions amid Coronavirus outbreak
The Coronavirus has also infected 20 Pakistanis so far and created a panic that the Sindh government had to shut all provincial educational institutions till May 30.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government in its Cabinet meeting held in Peshawar on Friday has also decided to shut all educational institutions across the province for 15 days. The provincial government has also imposed a ban on official ceremonies and meeting with prisoners incarcerated in various jails throughout the province.
Apart from it, the nation was too enthusiastic over witnessing the entire Pakistan Super League (PSL) in the Country for the first time, and so far almost all PSL 2020 Matches had been held with a full house but now the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also had to decide that from now onwards, the rest of the Matches at National Stadium Karachi would take place without spectators as part of the precautionary measures to avert the threat of Coronavirus.
It’s very much likely that such decisions can also be announced by the Punjab authorities.
Meanwhile talking to media in Islamabad today, the Minister for Education and Professional Training Shafqat Mahmood said that no decision regarding vacations in the federal education institutions has yet been made.
Shafqat Mahmood said that the next course of action will be devised in today’s meeting of the National Security Committee
The minister advised the masses not to succumb to panic over the virus. He said that people must maintain cleanliness and take precautionary measures to protect themselves from the Coronavirus.
