ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on Wednesday stressed the need for further strengthening their bilateral relations.

In a meeting held in Islamabad, the Advisor to Prime Minister on National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddiqui and the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani discussed Pak-Saudi bilateral relations.

The two sides reiterated their stance to further strengthen the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

In his remarks, the advisor said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were enjoying cordial relations which were deep rooted in common religious, cultural and social traditions.

Irfan Siddiqui said that every Pakistani had great love for the Holy land of Hejaz and feels its obligation to safeguard the place.

The advisor also presented a calligraphic art piece to the Saudi ambassador.

The Saudi ambassador said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had always come up to each other’s expectations during the crucial and testing times.

“It is heartening to see that the cooperation between both the countries is expanding day by day in different fields of life and both are determined to fight the menaces of extremism and terrorism,” the ambassador said.
