Government of PakistanPakistan has strong position in Kulbhushan Jadhav Case: Sartaj

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Adviser to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that Pakistan has strong position regarding merit over the case of Indian Spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Talking to media representatives in Islamabad on Saturday, Sartaj Aziz said that we will try for early hearing of Kulbhushan Jadhav Case in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and will present our stance with full preparation.

The adviser said that the ICJ has not issued any order with regard to consular access to Kulbhushan Jadhav.

Sartaj Aziz said that Yadav was convicted as per law and constitution of Pakistan, and our stance against the Indian Spy is based on truth and reality.

Last Thursday, an 11-member ICJ headed by Judge Ronny Abraham stayed the execution of Kulbhushan Jadhav awarded by a Military Court in Pakistan, and asked Islamabad not to implement the execution till the final decision arrives.

In April this year, the Military Court had awarded death penalty to detained agent of Indian Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) Kulbhushan Jadhav for his involvement in espionage and sabotage activities against Pakistan.

Sartaj Aziz further said that India will not succeed in his nefarious designs to hide subversive activities of its Spy Kulbhushan Jadhav.

The advisor said that Kulbhushan Jadhav was using fake passport in Pakistan and was involved in numerous subversive activities to destabilize Pakistan.

Sartaj Aziz said that when there will be a matter of our national interest and security, then there will be no compromise.
