ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Mamnoon Hussain have conveyed felicitations to their United Arab Emirates (UAE) Counterparts on the 46th National Day of UAE.
The UAE’s National Day is celebrated each year on December 2 when its six Emirates including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Al Fujayrah, and Umm al Qaywayn united in 1971 after independence from UK.
In a statement issued on Saturday on the auspicious occasion of the 46th National day of United Arab Emirates, the president and the prime minister conveyed warmest felicitations on the behalf of the government and people of Pakistan to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Muhammad bin Rashid Al Makhtoum, respectively.
The president highlighted the deep rooted relationship based on shared history, culture and common faith between the two countries and underscored the need to further strengthen it in years ahead.
The prime minister praised the impressive economic and social development that UAE has achieved.
While highlighting the close, cordial and cooperative relations, and impressive progress and diversification in all areas of relations, the prime minister stressed the need to further expand and deepen the mutually beneficial relations.
Both leaders also expressed their best wishes and prayers for the progress, prosperity and happiness of the people and government of UAE.
