ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Advisor on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood has said that Pakistan is exploring new markets for its products besides the US and Europe.

In his address at the Pharma Summit in Islamabad on Wednesday, the advisor described Africa as an emerging market and said that Pakistan has prepared the Look Africa Policy to exploit the African market.

Abdul Razak Dawood also stressed the need for export-led growth as it is important to save the Country from the debt trap. He said that Pakistan’s exports must be expanded to ensure the national development, and taken to the level of US$ 100 billion.

The advisor on commerce also assured to remove all the impediments in the way of development of the industrial sector.

The advisor said that the pharmaceutical industry should prepare its export strategy, and assured that the government will extend full help to enhance exports of the pharmaceutical sector.
