ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday said Pakistan was determined to resolve border crisis, and no terror outfit was allowed any more at all to operate from Pakistan.
In his address at the Islamabad International Counter Terrorism Forum held to highlight Pakistan’s endeavors and achievements in war against terror, the minister said in 2013 Pakistan was listed among the most dangerous Countries in the World but peace was established in the Country after the elimination of terrorism.
Ahsan Iqbal said extremists used Islam and youth to fulfill their nefarious designs but Pakistan fought against the terrorists bravely.
The minister said the western agencies sent Osama Bin Laden and other warriors/terrorists to Pakistan. He clarified that Pakistani secret agencies didn’t have any contact number of Osama.
The interior minister said the narrative of the state and the public against terrorism was clear. He also emphasized the need for devising a system for the war affected Afghanistan.
In the three-day Conference, leading Pakistani and international experts, scholars, practitioners, think-tanks and opinion-makers in area of counter extremism and terrorism will deliberate upon current situation and future challenges and response.
