ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Acting President Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani on Friday said Pakistan deeply valued China’s support on the issues of national and regional security including Kashmir.

In a meeting with Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission General Zhang Youxia at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad, Sadiq Sanjrani Pakistan and China were close friends, neighbors and trusted partners because their relations were based on mutual respect and trust.

Sadiq Sanjrani emphasized that Pak-China friendship was the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy and their defence relations were the guarantee of peace and stability in the region.

The Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission thanked the acting president, the government and people of Pakistan, and said Pakistan and China enjoyed a time-tested friendship which would further grow in the coming generations.

Earlier, Sadiq Sanjrani conferred the Nishan-i-Imtiaz (Military) upon the Vice Chairman of Chinese Central Military Commission General Zhang Youxia during an Investiture Ceremony.

All Services Chiefs, Senior Military and Civil Officers were also present on the occasion.
