ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Caretaker Prime Minister Justice (retd) Nasir-ul-Mulk has underscored Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful and good-neighbourly relations with India on the basis of mutual respect and sovereign equality.

In a meeting with Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Sohail Mahmood who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday morning and briefed him on all aspects of Pakistan-India relations, the prime minister also stressed the importance of sustained engagement and peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues between India and Pakistan including the Jammu & Kashmir dispute for durable peace and stability in South Asia.

The Foreign Secretary Tehmina Janjua was also present during the meeting.
