ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan was briefed on Thursday about the Pakistan-Turkey Joint Venture of Salahuddin Ayubi Series.

In a meeting held in Islamabad, the filmmaker Shahzad Nawaz, the Turk Producer Emre Konuk, Syed Junaid Ali Shah and Dr. Kashif told the prime minister said that the planning of the project is complete while its shooting would start in April next year.

In his remarks, the prime minister said that Salahuddin Ayubi is a historical character that is quoted even by the West. He said that Salahuddin Ayubi announced general amnesty after the historic victory of Jerusalem.

The prime minister said that a series on the life of Salahuddin Ayubi would enlighten the youth about this historic character.

Moreover, Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized on the adoption of modern techniques to create awareness among the youth about Islamic history. He said that dramas and films need to be made on historical stories.

Senator Faisal Javed was also present in the meeting.
