ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: A meeting was held between the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Shah Owais Noorani and the Ambassador of Azerbaijan Khazar Farhadov at the Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad on Friday.

The unity of the Muslim Ummah and the challenges faced by them were discussed during the meeting.

Both the dignitaries reiterated for stronger ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

Shah Owais Noorani said that Muslim Ummah should devise a common strategy to combat challenges faced in modern world.

The Special Assistant also briefed the Azerbaijan’s ambassador about recent floods in Pakistan which left thousands of poor people homeless.
