ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday hoped that cooperation and relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would further grow in the coming days.
Talking to the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Commodore Nawaf Saeed Ahmad Almalki at Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad, the president said both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia were linked together in historical, religious and cultural relations and the people of the brotherly two Countries enjoy sincere fraternal relations.
The president said bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would further expand and deepen with each passing day.
While welcoming the interest being taken by Saudi Arabia in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), the president underlined the project would have positive and far-reaching impact.
President Mamnoon expressed grave concern over the deteriorating situation in Burma and Yemen, and emphasized that the Muslim Ummah should have worked in unison to address these issues.
