ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting on Hajj Policy 2023 at the Finance division in Islamabad on Saturday.
The Federal Minister for Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony Mufti Abdul Shakoor, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistance on Finance Tariq Bajwa, the Special Secretary Finance and Senior Officers from Finance and Religious Affairs Ministries attended the meeting.

The meeting was apprised on the Hajj Police 2023, the expected number of Pakistanis applied to perform Hajj. It was informed that more than 179,000 Pakistanis are expected for Hajj this year.
The federal minister for religious affairs informed the finance minister about certain issues related to foreign exchange and sought his support.
Senator Ishaq Dar stated that Hajj is a sacred religious obligation to be performed by every Muslim and we have to contribute our part for the blessings of Almighty Allah.
The finance minister committed to extend maximum support and cooperation of facilitating the Hajjis to make the religious event successful.
