ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that there is no single corruption case came on surface during the tenure of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) government.
Talking to private television channel, Abid Sher Ali said that former President Pervez Musharraf and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) during their tenure levelled baseless corruption charges against the PML-N but they failed to prove it.
The state minister said that the PML-N believes in the politics of serving the masses through its agenda of development and prosperity. He said that the PML-N will also win the general elections 2018 by its performance and visionary leadership as it is the most popular party among the masses.
Abid Sher Ali also said that the government has reduced visible power loadshedding throughout the country. He said that the government has been providing uninterrupted power supply to all industries and also working to remove all faults of transmission lines.
The minister said that 8000 to 10,000 MW electricity will be added in national grid soon, adding that the government has taken measures to decrease difference between demand and supply in the country.
