Government of PakistanNawaz Sharif, PML-N are indispensable for each other: Abid Sher Ali

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Wednesday said nobody could stop Nawaz Sharif from becoming Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Head because both were indispensable for each other.

Talking to media in front of the Accountability Court in Islamabad, Abid Sher Ali said those who failed to deliver during their tenures in the government were now trying to hamper the development process in the Country.

“Nawaz Sharif is our preceptor and party leader. We stand by him. But Imran Khan is an accidental politician. He is a puppet whose strings are moved from somewhere else,” he added.

Abid Sher Ali mentioned to absence of Imran Khan from the Parliament and said, had he been sincere to the Parliament and the constitution, he would have come to the Parliament.

The minister said Imran Khan and his aides are involved in corruption and so are those who sent money abroad through ferries and boats so there is no reason for them to teach us ethics.

The state minister said the masterminds of ‘minus one’ formula suffered defeat at the hands of Parliament when National Assembly on Tuesday rejected the amendments of opposition parties in Election Bill to keep Nawaz Sharif away from party’s top slot.

“They are dejected. They suffered defeat. Those working on ‘Minus Nawaz Sharif’ formula were sent a clear message by the Parliament. Whole PML-N and National Assembly stood firm to foil their conspiracies,” Abid Sher Ali said.

“People of Pakistan and whole of the PML-N is with Nawaz Sharif. Hollow threats cannot deter Nawaz Sharif from serving the masses. We have torn away black laws of dictatorial regime and threw it in dustbin,” he added.
