ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Muhammad Baligh Ur Rahman on Friday said the national economy was improving due to effective strategy of the incumbent government.
While concluding the debate on an adjournment motion in the Senate, he said the fake information, fact and figures about the foreign debts were being spread.
The minister said the economy of the Country was improving and the gross domestic product (GDP) growth was also increasing. He said during the previous year the GDP growth remained 5.28 percent while in the years 2017-18 it would improve further.
Baligh said the financial deficit had been decreased, adding the federal expenditures in Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) were 18 percent. He said 21 percent amount was being utilized on the defense.
Baligh Ur Rahman said the government was fulfilling its responsibility by maintaining the law and order situation in the Country. He said business activities were increasing in the Country which would make national economy stronger and more vivid.
