ISLAMABAD, Pakistan; Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday reiterated the government’s resolve to continue to fight against the menace of terrorism.

“We are a steadfast nation and will not be deterred by such attacks,” the prime minister said in a statement while strongly condemning the attack on Charsadda District Courts.

“Our government will continue to fight against terrorist elements and we will succeed by the grace of Almighty”, the prime minister said.

Earlier in the day, three suicide bombers tried to enter Tangi Karchehri in Charsadda District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but two of them were shot dead by police while bomber blew up himself. Resultantly, five persons were martyred and 15 injured.

The prime minister appreciated the response of law enforcement agencies (LEAs) which resulted in saving of many precious human lives and expected that same spirit shall prevail across the Country in thwarting malicious designs of our enemies.

Nawaz Sharif also sympathized with the bereaved families and prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the martyrs’ souls with eternal peace.
