ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi laid the foundation stone of a state-of-the-art international hospital with 100 beds in Islamabad on Monday.
The hospital will be built through a joint collaboration between the National Police Foundation (NPF) and a Private Turkish Company.
The completion of the 100-bed hospital will provide state-of-the-art health facilities to police personnel and the public.
The NPF has provided the land for the hospital while its estimated cost of Rs 5 billion will be born entirely by a Turkish Company.

While addressing the ground-breaking ceremony, the Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that for the welfare of the martyrs and the policemen, the work is being done with full dedication and hard work.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the 100-bed modern international hospital will prove to be a game changer for the NPF. He further said that the NPF and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) are working on new projects in collaboration with each other.
The interior minister said that the National Police Foundation is not limited to Islamabad only; rather, efforts are afoot for the welfare of martyrs and policemen in provinces as well.
In addition, he said that the NPF has also recently completed a project for martyrs and youths in Hyderabad.
Mohsin Naqvi also said that the reconstruction of the National Police Academy is underway.
