ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the construction of two Underpasses and a Signal-Free Corridor to facilitate the citizens of Islamabad.
The Underpasses will be built at Serena Chowk and Srinagar Highway with the aim of reducing traffic congestion in the City.
The interior minister chaired an important meeting regarding the underpasses project where he directed the authorities to ensure their maximum height.
Monhsin Naqvi also tasked the Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa to overseeing the Project.
The initial design of the Underpasses Project has also been prepared, and the NESPAK Officials briefed the minister regarding its details.
The interior minister directed the authorities to complete the Project in the shortest possible time.
The Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and NESPAK Officials were also present in the meeting.
