ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has said that the Main Line (ML-1) is an important project to the uplift of Pakistan Railways, and it will provide immense job opportunities to our youth.
Talking to media outside the Supreme Court in Islamabad on Wednesday along with the Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar, Sheikh Rasheed said that the process of the ML-1 project’s approval from the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) and the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) will be completed in time.
Regarding Karachi Circular Railway, the minister said that both the federal and the provincial government are on the same page on this project. He said that we have also submitted a business plan of Pakistan Railways before the Supreme Court.

In his remarks, Asad Umar said that the ML-1 project of Pakistan Railways will be presented before the next meeting of Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to be held in April.
