LAHORE, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has said that the government has decided to set up a Mini Headquarter for Railways in Karachi to facilitate the business community.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore on Saturday, he said that the Mainline-1 (ML-1) project has an importance for the improvement of the railway sector while the advertisement will be started from after tomorrow for giving awareness regarding this project.
The railways minister said that freight trains will be increased for revenue generation.
Earlier, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed presided over a meeting at Railways Headquarter in Lahore and reviewed the revenue of freight and passenger trains and restoration of old train stops and its timings.
