Government of PakistanMarriyum feels deeply grieved, condemns Lahore blast

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb has strongly condemned the dastardly attack on the population census team at Lahore in which six people including four security personnel were martyred.

“I strongly condemn the heinous act of terrorism at Lahore and feel deeply grieved over the loss of six precious lives including the security personnel,” Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a statement on Wednesday.

“I extend my heart- felt condolences to the families of the martyrs. I also sympathize with the kith and kin of those who sustained injuries in this act of bestiality,” she said.

Marriyum Aurangzeb prayed that Allah Almighty may rest the souls of the martyrs in peace.

The information minister said that such attacks cannot shake the resolve of the people, the government and our security and law enforcing agencies (LEAs) to take the fight to the terrorists and cleanse the Country from the scourge of terrorism.
