ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that there is a need to further increase cooperation with Austria and Australia as a large number of Pakistani students are studying in these Countries.
Talking to the Ambassador-designate of Pakistan to Austria Mansoor Ahmed Khan and High Commissioner-designate to Australia Babar Amin who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad on Wednesday, the president directed both envoys to enhance cultural cooperation and increase the number of trade and business delegation with their respective Country.
The president said that both Austria and Australia are important Countries while Pakistan is keen to strengthen cooperation with these two Countries in all fields.
President Mamnoon also called for highlighting the positive image and promoting the tourism opportunities in Pakistan.
Mamnoon Hussain emphasized the need for exploring new avenues to increase the bilateral trade with the both Countries.
The president underscored that the relations with businessmen and trade organizations of these Countries must be strengthened which will be mutually beneficial. He underlined that investors from the said Countries must be encouraged to make investment in different sectors of Pakistan.
President Mamnoon also directed the envoys-designate to take all possible measures for the welfare of Pakistani Community and to increase the number of Pakistani workforce in their respective Countries.
