ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Political Affairs Naeem Ul Haq on Wednesday rebuffed social media reports referring a list of Federal Cabinet Members who were either being removed or reshuffled.
“After meeting the PM (Prime Minister Imran Khan) just now I can confirm that a list of cabinet changes being circulated on SM (Social Media) is totally false and there is no truth in it,” Naeem Ul Haq said on his twitter account.
Naeem Ul Haq further said that our adversaries continue to indulge in fake messages to create divisions in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). “But that is not going to happen,” he added.

Last Monday in a meeting of PTI Parliamentary Leaders, Prime Minister Imran Khan hinted at some changes in the Federal Cabinet after some leaders complained about non-cooperation of some ministers in addressing people’s grievances.
After that, a list began being circulated on social media, according to which, Shafqat Mahmood was being removed as the Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, and be made as the Interior Minister while the Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry would relinquish his Portfolio once again.
Likewise, as per the social media, Zubaida Jalal was being assigned the Portfolio of Education Minister whereas the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan would also fall victim to the reshuffling.
The PTI senior leader and the former Finance Minister Asad Umar would return in the Federal Cabinet as the Petroleum Minister, the social media further claimed.
