ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Dr. Muhammad Naseem has called for uniformity of Law Reforms and important people friendly legislation in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and the provinces.

Dr. Farogh Naseem was chairing a meeting with the representatives of the provinces in Islamabad on Thursday.

The most notable among the participants of the meeting was the Law Minister of Punjab Muhammad Basharat Raja who apprised the Law Minister regarding legislation in Punjab.

The Federal Law Minister said that help and support of the Punjab government is crucial for the implementation of Anti-Rape laws.

The Punjab Law Minister apprised Dr. Farogh Naseem that the Punjab women protection authority will play an active role in the implementation of the legislation.

Dr. Farogh Naseem directed that all the important bills be shared with the provincial governments in order to streamline cooperation between the center and the provinces.
