WARSAK, Pakistan: The Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said on Saturday that the matter of Indian Spy Kulbhushan Jadhav would be taken to logical conclusion in accordance with the Country’s law and constitution.

Talking to the media persons in Warsak, the interior minister said that Kulbhushan Jadhav was an Indian Spy who was involved in heinous crimes against Pakistan. He said that Jadhav was convicted as per the Country’s law.

Talking about relations with Afghanistan, the minister said that Pakistan desires cordial relations with the neighboring Country, adding that hearts of the peoples of the two Countries beat together.

However, Nisar said that Pakistan will not accept the Afghan leadership to speak the language of our enemy India.

Furthermore, Chaudhry Nisar said that he will visit Iran after Ramazan and all the matters will be addressed amicably. He said that Pakistan and Iran enjoy close relations and these will remain so in future as well.

Earlier addressing the passing out parade of Frontier Corps (FC) at Warsak, the interior minister reaffirmed the commitment to purge the Country of the menace of terrorism.

The minister said that the Country has achieved major successes in the war on terror due to the sacrifices rendered by the security forces. He said that this has led to reviving the sense of security amongst the people. He said that this fight will be taken to its logical conclusion with unity and harmony in our ranks.

The interior minister said that certain elements are on the payroll of our enemies and receiving funds from them to stoke anarchy and unrest in the Country. He said that these elements are killing innocent people including children and women in the name of Islam.

Nisar said that these handful of elements have distorted the image of Islam through their sordid acts but we will eliminate them with full force.

Referring to the role of the FC, the interior minister said that the FC personnel are the protectors of Pakistan and they will have to set new trends of professionalism and commitment in order to free the Country of all undesirable elements.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
