ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi called on the Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad on Monday.

The minister lauded the vision and efforts of the President and Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan for development and transformation of UAE.

While speaking to the UAE ambassador, the defense minister highlighted the importance of brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE, and appreciated the similarities in views of both Countries regarding major regional and international issues.

While expressing satisfaction on the existing collaboration, it was mutually agreed upon that there exists a scope for further increase in defence cooperation.
